Is Gender Equality a Christian Idea

The Bible teaches that God created Adam out of the dust of the ground.

He put Adam in the Garden of Eden to work it and commanded him not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God then said it was not good for Adam to be alone and that He would make a suitable helper for him. There was no suitable helper for Adam among the animals since there was none of his kind. God put Adam into a deep sleep and out of Adam's side formed Eve.

God brougt Eve to Adam and the man said, "This is now bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh, she shall be called 'woman' for she was taken out of man." (Genesis 2:20-25). The Bible makes us to understand that man was made first and woman was taken out of man.

If truly the man and the woman were wqual as they say, why will God say to Eve, "Your desire will be for your husband and he will rule over you." Since the beginning God has placed the man over the woman.

Also, the Bible makes us understand that the women were not counted since they were not allowed to go to war. This is another fact that shows men and women are not equal.

Gender equality is ungodly because the Bible says in Ephesians 5:22-24, "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husband. The husband is the head of the wife as Chirst is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husband in everything."

To say the man and the woman are equal is a sin because we see that God placed the man again over the woman by making man the head of the family and commanding the woman to submit to her husband in everyting.
